We have been breeding family pets for over 30 years.  Enigma, the kennel name for our Poodle crosses, has produced pups since 1995, whilst Gwydir, the kennel name for our Working Cocker Spaniels, has produced pups since 2011. 

 

Enigma started early on in the field of cross-breeding when Labradoodles first hit the scene in Australia.  These first-cross dogs did not produce non-shedding pups, so Enigma switched to English Cocker Spaniels and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to cross with Poodles, finding that those first-cross pups generally have non-shedding, non-allergenic coats and are a size better suited to young families and city living – family pets with great natures.

 

Alongside Enigma, but completely separate, Gwydir produces Working Cocker Spaniels, the initial dogs having been imported from England and Wales in 2011.  These very affectionate, intelligent and lively dogs are great in Agility, but can also be used very effectively as sniffer dogs, as they are great at seeking things out.
